Publication of the “Report on the development of regulations for financial institutions regarding data utilization” by the “Study Group on the Financial System” under the Financial System Council
The “Study Group on the Financial System” under the Financial System Council (chairman: Shinsaku IWAHARA, Professor of Law, Waseda Law School) has been exploring a regulatory framework that fits the future forms of financial services.
Among issues to consider, the Study Group has compiled a report to summarize the discussion and recommendations regarding data utilization by traditional financial institutions, the business scope of which is strictly limited.
