[Opening remarks:]
Regarding reshuffle of management personnel in the Ministry of Finance and the Financial Services Agency (FSA), we have just received approval at the Cabinet meeting. You may already have the material at hand.
In the FSA , Mr. HIMINO, the current FSA Commissioner, will resign and be succeeded by Mr. NAKAJIMA, the current Director-General of the Strategy Development and Management Bureau. Mr. MATSUO, the current Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, will assume Director-General of the Strategy Development and Management Bureau, and his current post will be succeeded to by Mr. YUFU, the current Deputy Director-General of the Policy and Markets Bureau. Mr. MORITA, the current Vice Minister for International Affairs, will resign and be succeeded by Ms. AMAYA, the current Vice Commissioner for International Affairs. Mr. SHIRAKAWA, the current Vice Commissioner for Strategy Development and Management, will assume Director-General of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau and be succeeded by Mr. ITO, the current Deputy Director-General of the Supervision Bureau. Mr. FURUSAWA, Director-General of the Policy and Markets Bureau, Mr. KURITA, Director-General of the Supervision Bureau, and Mr. ITO, Vice Commissioner for Evidence-based Policymaking, stay in office.
