[Opening remarks:]

I got reappointed as Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Financial Services, and Minister in charge of Overcoming Deflation in the Reshuffled Second Kishida Cabinet. I would like to express my gratitude to all members of the Press Club for your continued support ahead.
On the financial service side, I will work on updating corporate disclosure rules, including the enhancement of non-financial information such as human capital investment, and the formulation of the "Doubling Asset-based Incomes Plan" to encourage the shift of household’s financial asset from savings to investment.
