Publication of the draft "Cabinet Office Order to Amend the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act, etc."  <Summary> The FSA published the draft "Cabinet Office Order to Amend the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act, etc." The proposal mainly intends to provide amendments to the "Ordinance for Enforcement of the Banking Act, etc." in accordance with the "the Act for Partial Revision of the Act on Facilitation of Management Succession of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises for Promotion of Business Succession of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and Other Acts (Act No. 58 of 2020)" (provisional English law title) promulgated on June 19, 2020.

Publication of the "Report of the Working Group on Financial Markets of the Financial System Council – Toward the Enhancement of Financial Institutions' Customer-Oriented Business Conduct" (provisional English report title) <Summary> The FSA published the "Report of the Working Group on Financial Markets of the Financial System Council – Toward the Enhancement of Financial Institutions' Customer-Oriented Business Conduct" (provisional English report title) compiled by the aforementioned Working Group based on its meetings, which were held seven times from October 2019 through July 2020 to discuss the enhancement of financial institutions' customer-oriented business conduct and desirable roles of financial services in the super-aging society.

Request of comprehensive measures to counter cluster infections of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in restaurants, etc.  <Summary> In response to the statement published by the Cabinet Office on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, which requests to take comprehensive measures to counter cluster infections of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in restaurants, etc., the FSA announced on Friday, July 31, that the relevant financial services sector should raise awareness of taking counter-cluster measures in workplaces as set forth in the Cabinet Office's request statement.
