April 10, 2024	Administrative actions against VIXO Kabushiki Kaisha, and IPR Venture Capital Inc., notifiers of specially permitted business for qualified institutional investors (SPBQII) <Summary> The Kanto Local Finance Bureau took administrative actions against VIXO Kabushiki Kaisha, and IPR Venture Capital Inc., notifiers of specially permitted business for qualified institutional investors (SPBQII), based on facts found to be in violation of the "Financial Instruments and Exchange Act" (FIEA), such as where the location of the principal office of VIXO Kabushiki Kaisha cannot be ascertained, and where IPR Venture Capital Inc. failed to file mandatory business reports (i.e. "jigyo-hokokusho" in Japanese) in response to a business improvement order previously issued by the Bureau, thereby ordering the abolition of the notifiers' entire SPBQII, and so forth, pursuant to the FIEA. Note: As the said entities have no English corporate names, the Romanized versions of the Japanese corporate names are stated here. Kabushiki Kaisha (Kabushiki Gaisha) stated in the corporate names means "stock company" in Japanese. The original press release is available in Japanese.

The updates mainly pertain to consequential amendments in response to the amendments to "Key Considerations for the Supervision of Specified Joint Real Estate Ventures" (provisional English title)* published by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). *While the said MLIT's document is available only in Japanese, this is a provisional verbatim English title and is not the official English title.
